The smartphone is nothing new. For years now, consumers and enterprise customers have been using smartphones to perform tasks while away from home or the office. Over time, the features of those devices have only improved, making them all the more useful—and required—in the daily lives of individuals.

 But as smartphones become more sophisticated and companies add more features to them, they quickly become products that replace others.

 In fact, the average person using a smartphone today is likely multitasking with that device more than they ever have.

 In the process, they're putting down many of the products that they might have formerly used when they were out and about on a given day. 

Simply put, there are a number of devices that smartphones can replace. They're not just limited to mobile phones or computers.

 Smartphones can do just about anything. Companies that can't match those smartphones are losing out. It's that slate of devices—those that lack versatility to the detriment of the organizations that use them—that will be highlighted in the coming slides.
